Drone-Check does not verify:
- Airspace legality or restrictions
- Pilot licenses or operator approvals
- Compliance with national or local regulations
- Accuracy of locations, timing or drone details
Responsibility for safe, lawful and compliant operations lies entirely with the pilot or operator.
Drone-Check is not an emergency, surveillance or law enforcement service.
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all use of the Drone-Check platform, including its public website, tools, APIs, MQTT services and paid subscriptions. By accessing or using Drone-Check, you agree to these Terms.
Purpose of the platform
Drone-Check is an informational and facilitative platform designed to increase transparency around drone operations. It does not grant flight permissions, verify legal compliance or replace obligations imposed by airspace authorities.
The pilot or operator remains solely responsible for compliance with EASA rules, national aviation & drone law, local restrictions and privacy regulations.
Acceptable use
- Information submitted must be accurate and lawful
- No misuse, abuse, scraping or excessive automated access
- No interference with platform stability or security
Drone-Check reserves the right to restrict or suspend access in case of misuse or violation of these Terms.
Paid Subscriptions & Pro Services
Drone-Check offers paid services (such as Pro subscriptions) that may include extended API access, higher rate limits, MQTT connectivity, or additional operational features.
Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, in advance
- Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise
- Invoices must be paid within the stated payment term
Upgrades and changes
Subscription tiers, pricing and limits may evolve over time. Any changes apply only to future billing periods and do not affect already paid subscription terms.
No refund policy
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, subscription fees are non-refundable, including partial use of a billing period.
Paid services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis.
Privacy & Data Protection
Drone-Check is designed to be privacy-first.
What data is stored?
- Flight location, time, altitude and radius
- Drone model
- Optional pilot or operator details
- Private edit link (never publicly visible)
Data retention
- Flight data is automatically deleted after 7 days
- Edit links expire when a flight is removed
- No profiling or long-term analytics
Personal data for subscriptions
For paid subscriptions and Pro services, Drone-Check necessarily processes a limited set of personal and business-related data.
This data is processed exclusively for the purposes of:
- Account creation and service access
- Billing, invoicing and payment administration
- Contractual communication and support
- Operational notifications related to the subscription
Depending on the subscription, this may include:
- Name or company name
- Email address
- Billing address
- VAT number (if applicable)
- Subscription and usage details
- Industry
- Size of dronefleet
Subscription-related personal data is never sold, profiled or used for advertising purposes.
User control
- Flights may be published anonymously
- No personal data is shown unless explicitly enabled
- Email addresses are used only to deliver edit links

Data exchange with equivalent platforms
In order to support transparency and situational awareness, Drone-Check may exchange limited flight data with equivalent platforms that pursue the same transparency-oriented objectives.
Data exchange is only enabled with platforms that:
- Operate with a similar public-interest or transparency purpose
- Do not monetize or profile personal flight data
- Respect privacy-first principles comparable to Drone-Check
When flight data is exchanged, only the following functional flight parameters are shared:
- Flight time window
- General location
- Operational radius
- Maximum altitude
No personal data is exchanged, including but not limited to:
- Pilot or operator identity
- Contact details
- Operator IDs or license numbers
- Private edit links or internal identifiers
Data exchange is intended solely to improve public awareness and does not imply endorsement, validation or legal verification of flights by either platform.
Newsletter and communications
Drone-Check may offer a newsletter or informational email service to keep users informed about platform updates, features or operational announcements.
Subscription to the newsletter is always voluntary and opt-in.
For newsletter distribution, the following data may be processed:
- Email address
- Optional name (if provided)
- Subscription preferences
Users may withdraw their consent at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter or by contacting Drone-Check directly.
Newsletter data is not shared with third parties and is used solely for direct communication related to the Drone-Check platform.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from the use of Drone-Check shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, Belgium.
