Drone-Check is an independent, community-driven platform. All information shown on this website is submitted voluntarily by drone pilots.

Drone-Check does not verify:

  • Whether a flight meets airspace restrictions
  • Whether the pilot holds the correct licenses or approvals
  • Whether a flight complies with national regulations
  • The accuracy of submitted locations, times or drone types

The responsibility for correct, safe and legal drone operations lies entirely with the pilot.

Residents should always verify urgent or suspicious situations through official authorities if needed. Drone-Check is not an emergency or security service.

Drone-Check is built to be as privacy-friendly as possible. The platform collects no personal data from visitors and uses no tracking, cookies or analytics, unless explicitly enabled by the pilot when submitting a flight.

What data is stored?

Only the information provided by the pilot when announcing a flight:

  • Flight location, time, altitude and radius
  • Drone model
  • Optional: pilot name, operator ID, contact email
  • Private edit link (never visible publicly)

How long is data kept?

  • All flight data is automatically deleted after 7 days
  • Private edit links disappear when the flight is removed
  • No long-term storage, profiling or analytics

Your privacy choices

  • Pilots may choose to appear as Anonymous operator
  • No personal information is shown unless explicitly enabled
  • Email addresses are used only to deliver the private edit link

Legal responsibility

Drone-Check is not a legal authority and cannot guarantee compliance of any submitted flight. The pilot remains responsible for operating according to EASA rules, national restrictions and local airspace requirements.
