Mobile App
The Drone-Check app makes announcing a drone flight even faster and easier.
It offers the same functionality as the website, but allows you to prepare everything in advance. When you’re ready to fly, you can start your flight instantly without typing anything on location.
Just like the website, the app is privacy-first:
- No account required
- You stay fully anonymous if you choose
- Only flight-relevant information is shared
Think of it as the "Fly Now" button, prefilled and always in your pocket.
The app is designed for quick, responsible flights — without friction, without tracking, and without unnecessary complexity.
This is an basic version of the app functionality.
In later releases we will add more functionality like displaying nearby flights, flight management, etc.

What the App does
- Create a new flight (same as the webpage Add Flight)
- Update an existing flight using your edit token
- Auto-fill pilot profile data
- Send live GPS positions (manual updates)
- Hide identity toggle (same behaviour as web)
Email notifications are not yet implemented in the app.

Saved locally on the device for instant pre-fill on future flights.
Create a flight
- Tap Find GPS Location
- Wait for a valid GPS-fix
- Create flight
- Enjoy your flight!
